Tuesday, October 13, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Litigation Funding for Patent Practice: What Every Patent Practitioner Should Know

Patent litigation can be costly, and litigation funding has become an increasingly important tool for helping clients pursue, defend, and maximize the value of their intellectual property rights. Join NAPP for an informative webinar presented by Salumeh Ramsay, who will provide an overview of litigation funding and its growing role in patent disputes.

This session will explore how litigation funding works, the types of cases that may qualify, what funders look for when evaluating opportunities, and how patent practitioners can identify situations where funding may benefit their clients. Attendees will also gain insight into ethical and practical considerations, risk management, and the evolving landscape of third-party litigation finance in intellectual property matters.

Whether you advise independent inventors, startups, universities, or established companies, this webinar will help you better understand when litigation funding may be a strategic option and how it can support access to justice and patent enforcement.
