William brings a unique combination of technical expertise and patent law experience to the field of legal technology innovation. As a registered patent agent (Reg. No. 78,820) and the Application Architect at IronCrow AI, William has spent the past six years developing cutting-edge AI tools that are transforming how patent professionals work.
With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University, William's technical foundation spans blockchain, machine learning, protein chemistry, and materials science. His graduate research resulted in multiple peer-reviewed publications on cardiac regulatory proteins and advanced detection strategies, providing him with deep expertise in both theoretical and applied sciences.
Since 2019, William has channeled his dual expertise in patent law and machine learning into creating practical AI solutions for the patent community. His suite of patent analytics and automation tools, including N-Spec for patent proofreading, OA-Shell for Office Action response automation, and the LLM Sandbox for secure AI-assisted drafting, has been licensed by in-house counsel at multiple Fortune 500 companies and is used extensively by US patent practitioners across from solo practitioners to large law firms.
