  4. Implement best practices for using the IronCrow Word add-in to streamline patent preparation workflow

About IronCrow AI

IronCrow AI provides patent practitioners with practical AI tools built by practitioners who understand the daily challenges of prosecution work. Unlike general-purpose AI platforms, IronCrow's tools are designed specifically for patent workflows with confidentiality as a foundational principle, all processing occurs on U.S.-based servers with zero data retention and no third-party access. IronCrow's tools are trusted by in-house counsel at Fortune 500 companies and used by practitioners ranging from solo agents to large law firms. NAPP members receive complimentary access to N-Spec's base proofreading features as a membership benefit.

Speaker: Will Schlecht

Will is the application architect at IronCrow AI and a registered U.S. patent agent (Reg. No. 78,820). He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University, with graduate research resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications on cardiac regulatory proteins and advanced protein modeling.

Since 2019, Will has combined his expertise in patent law and machine learning to develop practical AI solutions for the patent community, including N-Spec for patent proofreading, OA-Shell for Office Action response automation, and the LLM Sandbox for secure AI-assisted drafting. As both a practicing patent agent and the developer of these tools, Will brings a unique perspective on how AI can enhance efficiency while maintaining the quality and confidentiality standards the profession demands.
